It is hard to believe that another school year is about to be done. We worked hard to learn as much as possible. I am very proud of my students. It has been so much fun. I really enjoyed the opportunity to have two great classes.

Have a great summer and don't forget to read whenever you get a chance.

First day of school is really close. It was so exciting seeing all my new and past students at Meet and Greet. I am ready to teach 3rd Grade Reading and Writing to two classess. Unit 1 TEKS  to be taught for ELA are having to do with all parts of fiction: beginning, middle and end of a story; cause and effect, inference, plot, character traits, and setting. We will be working on writing complete sentences and creating many creative writing pieces.

The students will be given spelling and vocabulary words to be tested on each week, starting the second week. Reading 15 - 20 minutes every night will be very helpful for your child.

Let's get this get ready for a good year.

We are finalizing our plans for our field trip to the movie Wonder. We are finishing the book this week and are very excited about seeing the movie.
