Simple instructions for using Learning Ally
Accessing Learning Ally
1. www.learningally.org
2. Click the login button.
3. Username: first name and I.D. number (ex. john987654)
4. Password: Student I.D. number
5. Click the button under the headphones.
6. Choose a device.
7. Follow downloading instructions and log in to begin.
8. If you are using a smart phone, get the free Learning Ally app from your app store.

Audiobooks should be used as needed to scaffold grade level reading for dyslexic students who read below grade level when reading independently.
Dyslexic students do need practice reading materials they can read independently, but they also need exposure to grade level materials and grade level vocabulary. Audiobooks can make this possible.
