I can't believe the school year has come to an end. I hope everyone has a great summer. Please have your child read books and write about all the cool things that they do over the summer. I can't wait to see everyone again in August.

Summer is here! Parents please use this time to help your child continue to grow and learn. Practice math facts and reading with your child. It is so important that we keep our children busy while we are away from school. You can find some great learning sites online ( Epic, Raz-Kids, IXL, Imagine Math, Imagine Math Facts, and Prodigy). Enjoy your summer with your kids - stay healthy and we will meet again in August.
I am excited to be given the opportunity to be your child's teacher. We will begin the year remotely on August 13, 2020. Please stay in touch with Gregory Portland ISD for any updates to come.

Bio
I feel so very blessed to be working amongst a group of talented and nurturing staff, thoughtful and loving parents and most importantly, inquisitive and eager learners.
Second grade is an exciting year for students. We will stress reading comprehension and fluency. The students will learn about sentence structure and practice writing on a daily basis. We have several activities and projects planned for the year that will foster your child’s love of learning.
