ParentSquare Resources for Parents

Gregory-Portland ISD is transitioning from Remind to ParentSquare, a unified communication platform designed to keep teachers, staff, and families connected in one secure place.

ParentSquare allows parents and guardians to:

• Receive all district, school, and classroom messages by email, text, app, or phone call.
• Communicate directly with teachers, classrooms, and school groups through messages and posts.
• Stay updated with school news, alerts, and event reminders.
• View the school calendar, RSVP for events, and sign up to volunteer.
• Securely receive important student documents such as report cards and notices.

Gregory-Portland ISD has fully transitioned away from SchoolMessenger and is now moving from Remind to ParentSquare as our unified communication platform. All teachers and staff will complete their transition to ParentSquare by January 1, 2026. Families will begin receiving all district and campus communication through ParentSquare as this transition continues.

To get started, check your email or text for an invitation to join ParentSquare, or visit www.parentsquare.com to create your account. You can also download the free mobile app on iOS or Android to stay connected anywhere.

Our goal is for every family to join ParentSquare and stay informed, engaged, and connected to their child’s education.

SIGN IN

To get started, you’ll receive an invitation from ParentSquare by email or text. Follow the link in that message to activate your account using your contact information already on file with G-PISD.

In summary:

1. Open the ParentSquare invitation from your email or text.
2. Click “Activate Your Account” and follow the steps on the screen.
3. Confirm your contact information and verify your account.
4. Once confirmed, you’ll see your child’s name(s) connected to your account.

You’re now ready to start using ParentSquare to receive school and classroom updates!

If something looks incorrect in your ParentSquare account, please contact your child’s school campus office directly if:

• A name is spelled incorrectly
• Your email address or phone number is incorrect
• A child is missing from your account

Once you’re logged in, you can easily access help and resources:

• On a computer, click the question mark (?) in the top menu.
• In the app, tap the Help icon.

From there, you can:

• Contact your school directly or find contact details.
• Search help articles and step-by-step guides for using ParentSquare.

The ParentSquare app is available in both iOS or Android stores. Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all Posts, Events, Sign Up Requests, Photos and Files.
