Invitation for Public Comment & ESSER III Presentation @ Board Meeting | Dec. 13, 2021

G-PISD (and all districts) must complete an application to access these federal dollars to support our students. We are actively seeking public review and input regarding our district proposal. 


Please review the information on this web page (including presentations), and provide your comments and feedback regarding how the school district intends to use ESSER funds. Public comment is requested before the district moves forward to complete its application. The window of opportunity to provide your feedback is December 13, 2021 - January 7, 2022, by sending a message to the following email address: ci@g-pisd.org.



Public Notice & Feedback for Federal Grant Application

Gregory-Portland ISD will be applying for a grant to access ESSER II and III funding allocated by the federal government through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for all Texas public school districts. The application is due to TEA by July 27, 2021. 

District administrators hosted a public hearing at a meeting of the G-PISD Board of Trustees on June 14, 2021 which outlined the plan for grant submission, and public feedback is also requested before July 20, 2021.
