I am glad to be back if it is only virtually for a while. It is at these times of crisis that make me proud to be a Wild Cat because I have witnessed the adaptability and perseverance of our Wildcat family first hand. I feel honored at these times, that I chose to become an educator, because I can do my part to ensure our students are reaching their full potential even from a far. If you ever need to reach me, I can be contacted at my email address habel@g-pisd.org or you can leave a chat or a phone call on TEAMS. Please contact me with what ever questions you may have. Go Wild Cats!

Bio
I got my undergraduate degree from Florida State University, go Seminoles, and my masters degree at CCSU-TAMU. I have been a GP Wildcat for 17 years. This year I will be teaching Physics and Earth and Space Science. I anticipate that we will be facing many challenges a head and that we will be doing a lot of learning together. This is definitely a time for patience and understanding.
Physics is the most basic of the sciences. It’s a systematic approach to examining the universe around us and attempting to answer those big questions like why and how. Some of the topics we will be investigating this year include: how and why things move, collisions, energy, waves, mirrors and lenses, and electricity.
Physics Syllabus
Earth and Space Science is the study of the processes that shape the Earth and explain the universe. This course will explore the four main branches of Earth Science, which includes the following: geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy.
