Bio

I am starting my 9th year teaching life skills at GPHS. I feel extremely lucky to teach in a school district that I attended. I am a second generation Wildcat as my parents graduated from GP in the 70's and my brother and I in the late 90's. My husband, Larry, and I are raising 3 third generation wildcats of our own. My oldest, Emily, is almost 17 and will be a junior at GPHS. My middle, Olivia, is 14 and will be a freshman at GPHS. And last but not least is the youngest, Kaleb, he is 10 and will be a 4th grader this year. My Husband and I have been married for 19 years and are looking forward to many more together. I always like to let my parents know that I am a parent as well and understand the daily struggle of work and home balance.

If you need to get in touch with me  am always available during the school day. Feel free to contact me any time via email (provided above). I check email often throughout the day, and this is the best way to reach me. I cannot always answer the phone during the day, but you are are welcome to call also. I also check my e-mail a few times on the weekend in case something comes up. I believe that you all have my cell # so you can always text me and that works too!  Thank you so much for entrusting your children to me. I know that is sometimes not an easy thing to do as a parent. I promise that I will not take this responsibility lightly. I truly love what I do and can not wait to get started this year!

CLASS INFORMATION

So as with many things in our current situation our class structure will be a bit different this year. We will not be going on any community based field trips at least not in the fall. Hopefully we can get back to some kind of normalcy and can go some in the spring. I am a firm believer that kids need to practice skills at school, and then go a test them out in the actual environment. I will try to keep this page as up to date as possible this year. Please check the calendar to see what if anything is coming up. Thank you in advance for all of your help this year!
