Bio

I am really excited to start my forth year at G-PHS teaching Life Skills. We had a great year last year and I am looking forward to another wonderful year! I graduated from G-P in 1996 and am ecstatic to be at G-P! This is my eighth year to teach in this type of classroom. I am married to a wonderful husband, Larry, of 17 years. We have three amazing children: Emily is 16, Olivia is 13, and Kaleb is 9.

I am always available during the school day if you need to reach me for any reason. Feel free to contact me any time via email (provided above). I check email often throughout the day, and this is the best way to reach me. I cannot always answer the phone during the day, but you are are welcome to call also. Thank you!

CLASS INFORMATION

I am going to try really hard to keep this page as current as possible. Please check the calendar page to see upcoming events such as: Special Olympics, Field trips, and other activities that may be going on around school or in our class.

The students love to go on field trips and we try to go on a least one a month. The students receive Token Rewards (pay checks) for doing jobs around the school. We sort the mail for the teachers, we deliver boxes to the teachers, they shred papers that teachers need shredded, and we do some cleaning around the classroom. We use these token rewards to go on our field trips.

Field trips are usually go out to eat and then to the movies they love this! We will also make a trip in the spring to the mall. I am also looking onto a trip to get air. It is important to get the students out in the community when we can.
