State of the District

Gregory-Portland ISD Superintendent, Dr. Michelle Cavazos, together with students, teachers, and administrators from G-PISD will present the 5th annual State of the District Wildcat Showcase & Address on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Portland Community Center! This event will be hosted by the G-P Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to serve and support G-PISD teachers and students through grant funding for innovative educational programs, scholarships for our students, and recognition for G-P teachers and staff. Sponsorships are now available, and all proceeds will benefit the education foundation.
