Grants for G-P Teachers
Gregory-Portland ISD Teachers: The G-P Education Foundation is offering a first-time opportunity for you to apply and receive funding for a grant this school year! Programs funded will include the most creative and engaging advancements for your curriculum, designed to take learning to the next level for our G-P students. Grants are offered for programs not already funded as part of your district/campus budget. Read below for details!
Application Deadline: Friday, October 30, 2020
Who can apply? Any Gregory-Portland ISD Teacher or Teaching Team
When will grants be awarded? Winners will be announced by January 31, 2020. Funding will be awarded the following month, for use beginning in the Spring of 2020.
How is grant funding provided? Funds will be distributed through the district/campus for use by the teacher/teaching team to purchase grant program materials.

2019-20 WINNERS: The G-P Education Foundation visited all six (6) Gregory-Portland ISD schools on Friday, November 15, 2019, to surprise 20 G-P teachers with $13,753.65 in grant awards -- the FIRST-EVER (inaugural) grants awarded by the foundation! Programs will impact at least 1,705 G-P students this school year alone, and more in the years to come.
THANK YOU, DONORS! - Grants were made available thanks to our individual and private donors, as well as proceeds from the 2019 Teacher of the Year Banquet last May ... and a $5,000 gift from the Kiwanis Club of Portland (provided by the West Family / Dairy Queens of South Texas).
