5th Grade Science

 

STEMscopes: There is a link to STEMscopes (Science Vocabulary) on the school web page. You will find it the student section under resources. It is highlighted in red. The username is the student's first initial and last name. The password is the student's lunch number. 

 

Lab Safety: We will be practicing science safety in lab over the course of the school year. Please make sure to fill out the science lab safety contract.

RULES & PROCEDURES:

Beginning Class:

Materials in Order - Sharpened pencils; materials out to start working; put away unnecessary items.

Assignment on Board - Take out binder; Turn to/fill out science agenda section.

Read for instructions - Complete warm up; ask for help from neighbor if needed.

Seated and silent when the tardy bell rings - Listen to announcements; have warm up ready to discuss.

 

HOMEWORK:

Study journal for 15-20 minutes each day.
