District of Innovation Plan

Community Feedback Requested

The Gregory-Portland ISD School Board is considering adoption of the District of Innovation Plan, beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, and has authorized G-PISD Administration to move forward with the process (which includes posting for public view/feedback). The original plan was first established/approved by the Board on February 16, 2017, and proposed amendments were reviewed and recommended by the District Site-Based Decision Making Committee (SBDM) during the 2019-2020 school year prior to Board authorization to begin the process for amendment. (The District SBDM is comprised of District and Campus Administrators, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, and community members.)

COMMUNITY FEEDBACK REQUESTED: The proposed amendments to the District of Innovation Plan have been posted on this website for public review and feedback. All are invited to review, and submit any comments or questions to the G-PISD Human Resources Department via email: hrdept@g-pisd.org
