Methodology for competitive solicitations
Gregory-Portland ISD recognizes the need to ensure the transparency of all procurement activity to taxpayers and suppliers. To support this, competitive solicitations are:
- utilizing Beacon to share solicitations with interested bidders
- posted on the district website
- advertised in the local newspaper as required by law
- electronically sent out to any bidder that has communicated interest in this type of bid
To view specifications, or receive updates from a project, please register as a planholder on Beacon by filling out the information on the form. Upon completion, you will receive an email with the link to download attachments. Please note that accurate contact information is required in order to receive any updates.
Beacon is free for bidders and you do not need to register for an account with Beacon in order to receive updates from the district.
Board of Trustee meetings are broadcast live so as many citizens as possible can view the contract approvals in real time. The scoring tabulation, awarded contract and contract amount are listed for each advertised bid on the district website.
