Facility Naming Committee
The G-PISD Board of Trustees has initiated the process to consider naming the Gregory-Portland High School Auditorium/Theatre. As required in Board Policy CW(LOCAL), a Facility Naming Committee must be formed to review recommendations from the community and provide no more than three (3) finalists to the school board for consideration. This committee has been formed, and is now accepting recommendations (suggestions).
If you would like to submit a name for consideration, please CLICK HERE to complete and submit the form. The deadline to submit is Monday, August 21st.
The committee will meet again on August 23rd to make and review recommendations, and will reduce to no more than three (3) finalists for review by the Board of Trustees. The Board will have the option to select a name at an upcoming school board meeting in September 2017, and a ceremony will be held to recognize the name of the facility at a later date.
