Free & Reduced Priced Meals Program
Information and Applications
2008-2009 Free and Reduced Priced Meal Application
We will not be able to accept fax or email applications!
The purpose of the Child Nutrition Program is to safeguard the health and well being of the nation's children by providing nutritionally adequate meals each school day ensuring that participating children gain a full understanding of the relationship between proper eating and good health.
Children from low income families may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Applications will be sent home with all students on the first day of school and are available at all schools throughout the year. The application may be completed at any time during the year. We use the multi-child application and ask that only one form per household, not per child, be completed. Additional forms should be returned to the schools to be recycled to other families. You must reapply every school year. During the first few weeks of the new school year, returning students will be on the same approval status as they were at the end of the prior year. For questions about the Child Nutrition Program call 361-643-9161.
